The langauge crystal
« on: September 22, 2017, 11:50:11 AM »
Since much has been written about it, here is one nugget i recall from my time with the book when i was in florence.

The word enlightenment is the only word in the english language in which the lettrers e i g h t e e n appear in order
If there is any hope, it must lie in the proles..but why the proles, How are they most free to act?

Would this be related to the 18 armanen runes?

Tangentially.

Think more 18 being the 1st repitition of 9 , as pyhtagoreas said the one thing that unites all things is that they are numerable

A tale of two books. Both prohibitively expensive in physical form. Only one available in digital form.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pythagoreanism originated in the 6th century BC, based on the teachings and beliefs held by Pythagoras and his followers, the Pythagoreans, who were considerably influenced by mathematics and mysticism. Later revivals of Pythagorean doctrines led to what is now called Neopythagoreanism or Neoplatonism. Pythagorean ideas exercised a marked influence on Aristotle, and Plato, and through them, all of Western philosophy.

Historians from the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy pointed out[1]

Aristotle makes clear that there are several groups of people included under the heading "so-called Pythagoreans," by explicitly distinguishing those Pythagoreans who posited the table of opposites from the main Pythagorean system.

Death is in the tongue, if you speak of death, death will come.

Now that you mentioned it,
I was reading a book about someones travels and life in Tibetan "black magic" and their time spend there,
Don't quote me on the exact specifics, but I do know that they have some type of ritual where they take the corpse of someone
And after a certain amount of time after they finish doing whatever they needed to do prior to it, they bite off the tongue of the corpse
And this apparently keeps them from getting out of control after "breathing life" back into it.
The ritual was one for reanimation of the dead corpse, though don't quote me on this.
All I am certain of is that they bite off the tongue in a certain procedure in that part of the world as part of their "magic" practice.
Failure to bite off the tongue in the correct time slot would result in the reanimated corpse killing those near it.

I am sure at least one of you may have heard of this, maybe not,
But feel free to expand/correct me on this train of thought.

Strange angles are and stranger still
   that hounds be bested
My curving will.
