English lyrics

Freedom

The night falls on the shoulders of a man who goes away
Besides the darkness he'll take away with him a secret
Between houses and churches a woman is searching for who's not there anymore
And in the name of you, how many people won't ever come back.

Freedom, you made so many people cry
Without you, there's so much solitude
Till living will have a purpose
I will live in order to have you.
Freedom, when a choir will rise
It will sing in order to have you.

There's white paper on people's pain and skin
Everyday the cynicism towards poor people is growing
But a sun rises at night in the heart of the weaks.
And out of the silence a voice will be reborn
Searching for you

Freedom, you made so many people cry
Without you, there's so much solitude
Till living will have a purpose
I will live in order to have you.
Searching for you.

Freedom, without ever crying again
Without you, there's so much solitude
Till living will have a purpose
I will live in order to have you.
In order to have you.

Expand your mind
To understand
We all must live
In peace together
Extend your hand
To help the plan
Of love through all
Mankind on Earth

Thank you for that. Very Beautiful.

This is the next song I think of
You cannot destroy my vision when you see my vision undestroyed because I am just an undestroyer.

I offer perhaps an odd response, but here it is:

Indeed we do, "the grass is always greener on the other side" they say. If only more could conquer what they are trying to run from.

As far as the rabbit, perhaps an homage to Alice in Wonderland?

It's taken me some time to reply to your post although the response has been brewing for days.

I think many of us have built walls around old hurts and pains.  Sometimes we are well aware of these injuries; others we have buried deep down so (we hope) they will never hurt us again.   We'll journey through life, casually taking the ups and downs that one would expect during this experience on earth.  It's a labyrinth like so many cultures have described; there are dead ends and trails  that we loop back upon several times until we decide we need to go on another direction.  Then, we will see these old walls that we have built.  We decide to climb them, and we pat ourselves on the back at having dealt with our old injuries once again.

But, have we really dealt with them?  Or did we merely step over them so we can dash away from them again?  Will we keep running, like you said, because we are not ready to conquer these barricades completely?  Like always, it comes down to intention, certainty, and belief.  We can tell ourselves we have conquered these old pains, that it our heart does not break when someone mentions that experience.  We can say that the years have passed, there is nothing more that we can do and we have conquered that old cut and the scar has repaired us.  But are we certain we have REALLY dealt with the damage, at all our levels?  Do we truly believe we have we really taken the time to dealt with the pain?  Do we ever intend to face ALL that pain head on?

The white rabbit is the truth I think... and many of us keep running from it, even our own internal truths.

------------
One of my favorite stories about certainty and belief:

During a momentous battle, a Japanese general decided to attack even though his army was greatly outnumbered. He was confident they would win, but his men were filled with doubt. On the way to the battle, they stopped at a religious shrine. After praying with the men, the general took out a coin and said, “I shall now toss this coin. If it is heads, we shall win. If tails, we shall lose. Destiny will now reveal itself.”

He threw the coin into the air and all watched intently as it landed. It was heads. The soldiers were so overjoyed and filled with confidence that they vigorously attacked the enemy and were victorious. After the battle, a lieutenant remarked to the general, “No one can change destiny.”

“Quite right,” the general replied as he showed the lieutenant the coin, which had heads on both sides.

On a darker note, I spend a lot time thinking and examining the ideas and motivations that bring people into cults, religions, political parties, groups, etc.  I just started listening to the Heaven's Gate podcast, The host of the podcast grew up in an apocalyptic cult and his story is included in the podcast. I've also been listening to Tanis (which includes a Cult of Tanis) and have been watching The Path on TV. Holy Moly, I'm glad I'm not in that space anymore but it is interesting to listen, watch and relate back to how I was raised, what I was taught and the journey that has led me to where I'm at now. I miss the devotion and utter belief that I experienced while young and religious.
