A true warrior knows his opponent is himself. Our struggle is as much internal as external. Add to that the axiom "like attracts like" and its only natural over time wed find each other

I like to say, "ravens need ravens"

Now I need to go look up the wim hof methods.  Any good links on that?

Breathe fully in, let go, don't push the air out just let it flow out. Keep doing this 30-50 times. When you feel ready take one final last breath, let go and stop. Hold your breath. This is 1 round. Do 3 of these. Try 9 if you want to witness an intense feeling.

I heard this interview when it first aired and heard it again this week. It's good and think some of you will enjoy it too.

"Wednesday, we’re asking this question: Is it true that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger? Investigative journalist and anthropologist Scott Carney went looking for answers. He joins us to talk about pushing past perceived limitations."

A stairway?

during a shroom trip once I felt spinning sensations and being in the throat, interesting that its represented as the void with the lightning sign. heres some related images from nos, the book of resurection - https://imgur.com/a/50867

Quote
The Vishuddhi Chakra is located in the vicinity of the Larynx – and is therefore also known as the Throat Chakra. It is a centre of physical and spiritual purification. A story from the Purānas clearly illustrates the immense purificatory power of the Vishuddhi Chakra:

The Devas (gods) and Āsuras (demons) wanted to raise the treasure Amrita (the nectar of immortality), which was hidden in the depths of the ocean, to the surface. They used Mount Mandara as the stirring stick and the world serpent, Vāsuki, as the rope. The gods held the tail of the snake and the demons held its head. In this way they were able to churn the ocean of the world with their combined power. Numerous treasures and precious objects emerged from the ocean and, finally, the longed-for Amrita rose to the surface in a golden vessel.

AMRIT, the “nectar of immortality”, has a special relationship with the Vishuddhi Chakra, which in turn is closely connected to the Bindu Chakra . A hormone is produced in the Bindu Chakra that is known as “Amrit” because it supports the preservation of our health, vitality and youthfulness.

But this precious nectar generally drips unused into the Manipūra Chakra where it burns unused in the digestive fire. Through certain Yoga techniques it is possible to catch it in the Vishuddhi Chakra so that it can be distributed like a homeopathic medicine via the tongue and throat and be utilised by the whole body.
The element of the Vishuddhi Chakra is ĀKĀSHA (space). Space opens the possibility for expansion and distribution.

The Vishuddhi Chakra is the seat of the astral body that is able to leave the physical body from the Vishuddhi Chakra

I love the blue-white-red coloring.  Adds to the scene 😂😂

Why wouldn't they go back to Long Island and live with relatives?

I hope the brother doesn't catch the flu in the hospital. So many people are dying from it this year....

I wonder how many people died from the flu the year their mom died.

Was an ikkyu when Harris and the Giant Geesink was kickjng ass! The Kodokan was in an uproar over this.  5 years for shodan kept me as a brown as I was beating other Black belts.Osoto for me was a natural ippon. Drifted into Chinese arts then wondering how so many fighters got together here. Mr NRGs  signature caught my eye and I came aboard then Possibles damn dude you have one hell of a CV Cooper et al.  Honed some skills bouncing when younger-now doing internal and oh yeah had my share of broken bones -injuries healing and moving along. I am in great company here Indeed Judo Jiujitsu is a great start along with a good self defense art for the street I would have enjoyed Randori with Those champions. John Osako at the now gone Chgo Judo club was my initial sensei till he moved to Detroit
I don't do my Curriculum Vitae justice im afraid. No matter how good my teachers were I was the kind who always had one foot outside the circle. I was able to keep up, but I spent a good deal of time staring out the window at the horizon instead of focusing on the blackboard.
I alread knew most of the stuff anyway.
I was just re-member-ing.
Current diverse perspectives aside, for most of the posters and lurkers here, this is not our first rodeo. While Im poor with names I good remembering faces.

Most people don't realize the tactics of groups like blm and antifa are designed to scare people from organizing and petitioning, tactics that have been used for centuries.

"In addition, from 1880 on, the anarchist movement and the terror inflicted by its murderous attempts across the European Nation States, especially in Italy, France and Spain, brought intense fear to population."

http://groupanalyticsociety.co.uk/crowd-psychology-of-the-late-nineteenth-century/

Wow I didn't even know about that one. Back in the day everyone was civically engaged. If you look at an old phone book there are more clubs and groups than stores.

There was a group for everything.

Take today though...

It's more about whos your favorite band?
What do you watch in tv?
What is your favorite football team?
Even politics are blatent about a lack of choice... Red or blue?

And then guess what? No one cares about the politics.  I caucused for Ron Paul in 2012.

There were about 200 Republicans at the city caucus that represented a possible 40,000 Republicans.

Groupthink ha how about nothink.

Everybody just cedes their choice to a higher authority so they can keep being distracted into conformity groups that are more or less picked for them.

I say blame the controllers for this mess not individual skin color.
