That's quite an interesting thread. On one hand it doesn't really confirm anything that isn't already out there, but the proposals he talks about were interesting. Essential details were missing but its clear that the intention is to fuck us in every way possible, with some only questioning severity.
If the plan is to 'fix' the virus by summer then things will likely return to the way things were, with some concessions by the middle class "on behalf of the virus" not withstanding.
Theres always more to the story but many are too lazy to dig or incapable of parsing what was presented to them so they ask deflecting questions, that have nothing to do with the topic, thinking they are making their deficiency while in reality exposing it
It's fucking frustrating talking to anyone about this trying to explain that its not what it seems to be. People would much rather buy the fear porn than try to understand the fuck is going on.
"Oh you think you know everything", "You can't prove any of that you read it online" or "How is that useful information? Its just trivia" are some of the most common responses I hear.
So dismissive of anything that even tries to explain what the deal is. It's funny too because they frequently ask "what's going on in the world all of a sudden?" but when you try to explain any of it they just say your full of shit.
Another favorite is the "That's so convoluted and involved it cant be true and even if it is its hurting my head and there's no practical use for that information".
It's amazing. I have no words for it and am left speechless frequently in discussions about this.
Hit them with numbers. The global death total is nothing global infection rate is even lower, all the fear porn and dooku is based on "projections" aka bullshit
The response I get to the numbers is "well any death, even if its just one, is too much and serious actions need to be taken on a large scale to protect the whole".
Yeah so basically they just keep trying to find reasons to gripe over nothing and then they start comparing this right after I state the numbers to the plague and Spanish flu.
The other thing is that "Oh you can't prove anything you just said because you read it online and the numbers are probably false anyway but the news lies but I'll believe their numbers over what ever numbers you pull up because the television and official reporters are more reliable than ANYTHING online".
What dismissive shitty arguments. The "because you found it using a computer or digital device, its invalid", but that's exactly how they heard about it using the television.
But they don't care about that because everything has to be "your wrong because you question the validity and severity of this".
If this is a real virus isn't it likely that the media is actually lying about the numbers in order to prevent a panic? We already saw what one could look like a few weeks ago. Its not an extinction threat level virus, but its quite likely its been designed to spread and kill at least a significant number of people, and its been circulating as early as late November. In urban areas something like this is guaranteed to proliferate, just think of China, NY, LA. I've seen firsthand how dense and unsanitary life is for many in China and communist governments have never been as fond of the masses as they claim to be.
Considering China's numbers alone I feel like they're either within or have already surpassed a millions deaths and as for the US I'm sure we're already under-reporting it across the board. Most hospitals in America don't have tests yet and people are disregarding virus protocol anyways, so its spreading more everyday. Ultimately with so much disinformation circulating the only thing that is certain is that time will tell.
Yes what the media is doing is fear mongering, but it seems to be more a blatant attempt at misinformation rather than rattling up 'rookie numbers'. Its possible that the entire thing is a carefully constructed hoax or perhaps a byproduct of 5G (possible if installations are FAR more widespread than currently believed) but I imagine tptb want something with much more 'bite' than just a carefully constructed virus epidemic. I suppose it really just depends on if they're going to run our fades at the start of 2020 or just wait a bit longer.
