Does anyone here thing there is a connection between 'buggery', insectoid 'aliens' and their influence on humanity?

It actually has its roots in the French word for heresy

I saw that but I was thinking more of how it could relate to how they subvert people.

In other worse bug has not etymological connection to bougre the root word

Default state is expansion/growth/creation.
