I keep seeing this phrase popping up--the Great Awakening.  If 2020 is the year of 20/20, what are we waking up to see in the middle of all this Corona?  I am feeling like this is just the prelude to something truly massive once the virus has petered out, but I can't put my finger on what we're waking up to right now.

Glad to have you . all of you. It wont be in the early phase but in the middleish, if you know what's going on in  rhode island you have a preview of what's to come.

On the subject of the virus, things I have noticed (and yes, I am so glad this place is back!):
1) Many friends and I have talked about our belief that this has been here since the fall of 2019.  Lots of folks with very similar to identical symptoms among us.  All just written off to a bad cold or a bad flu.  All of us healthy before and after.

2) If it arose in December in China and is as contagious as it is made out to be, how the heck would it take 3 months to get to NYC?  Or London?  It doesn't add up.

3) The articles about people who have succumbed to the virus...almost all include a quote from a relative to the effect of "we weren't taking this virus seriously but now we are."  Who would talk like that a day or two after a spouse or parent died?

4) The celebrities getting it.  Every one of them ending with "stay inside, stay home and we're going to get through this"

It really is nice, there's no other place I know where topics like this can be discussed peaceably online. Its also truly tragic that the site went down just as 2020 started getting interesting. I think its safe to say that corona is a little bit more than a nothing burger, and I think a that tptb (likely through the CCP) likely have some tragic things in store for us.

We can question the potency and origin of the virus, but it looks like the boomers are being set up for a rather brutal slaughter to herald the new decline. Senators have already sold their stocks... Any idea how long this might last?

In a sense you're correct it's not quite a nothingburger, but it's certainly not the entree it's not even a side dish. It's a scapegoat for the real issue causing a systematic collapse of our financial system which is of course say it with me now the Federal Reserve banking system.

The problem is they got Wall Street predicted to unlimited credit and 0% interest which is of unsustainable. Consider inside of the year the FED will pump over a quadrillion dollars into our economy. When they announced that news not only did it not proper Market back up it didn't even stop the bleeding.

I agree it's a diversion that can't be ignored.  A red herring for major money matters going on.  Pumping a quadrillion dollars into the economy is just diluting everything, because the money's worth nothing.  It's just numbers.  Market won't bite.  Spread the pain around. 

This is sort of like the Great Depression.  Then soon after we had the 2nd World War.  This time there're more factors woven in it seems (kill off old and sick, etc).

It's very hard to see a positive outcome to all this.  Could there be a positive outcome?  Or is that just a forlorn hope?

1) I can't speak to its symptoms but either all of you guys were in good health (bless your hearts) or you didn't actually have corona, difficult to say. Conveniently enough everyone seems to get the sniffles this time of year.

2) The virus has definitely been in these cities longer, but its taken a while for it to spread and fester throughout these cities. I would say St. Patrick's Day weekend was the day that sealed our doom with the virus. Students were recalled from universities around the world while other people left for break. PLENTY of people went out and partied and I can only imagine how many were infected that day alone, not to mention its been spreading every day since. Exponential growth is a viruses best friend.

3 & 4) I don't doubt the virus is real but its clear that the media et. al. has an agenda that involves both lying about the real qualities of the virus but also fear-mongering as much as possible, very dangerous game.

Corona does appear to be a vehicle for worse things to come. What Corona has allowed the FED to get away with is absolutely disgusting, but its only going to make the inevitable pop that much worse. When/how soon will the narrative about Corona change from "manageable flu" to whatever it is they have in mind for it?

One of my daughters was savaged with the "flu" early January . Recent bloodwork shows antibodies for this virus .Her husband has masterful genetics Never gets ill. Flu? get bloodwork done

So the UK, where I am at, is saying 6 months quarantine. I'm not sure the people will stand for that tbh. Boredom will set in and the mindset "I don't give a fuck anymore about CV I'm bored". Already women are killing themselves cus they couldn't face boredom / lack of male attention just 48 hours into a quarantine.

There's several theories as to why we are quarantined including incoming meteors and death of the Earth itself depending where you read. Would be nice to get some clear info and advice on what we should be doing at present?

Personally I have been casting sigils and meditating. I haven't been outside other than to get some sun in the backyard and walk the dog.

6 months WTF is that right ! House bound only your property only I'm able to get out  and about we have a shelter in place order but means squat -zero-nada can't do shit to me or anyone here Stay Safe
