The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. Your chosen family and bonds are stronger than the ones 'randomly' assigned to you at birth. Blood brothers and relative relatives.

Did curiosity kill the cat? Why a cat and not another animal? The etymology of 'curiosity' is "desire of knowledge, inquisitiveness". If the desire of knowledge and being inquisitive got the cat killed then i think the mice may have had something to do with that. At the very least its one of their wet dreams.

'Knowledge' means 'to perceive'. Did Schrodinger's cat's knowledge get it killed or did its knowledge allow it to transcend death and recognize it exists both 'dead' and 'alive' at the same moment?

A game of cat and mouse, or when the cat's away the mice will play.

Is it really better to be feared than loved? Can you be respected if someone loves you and vice versa?

their answer is it is better to be feared.
