If you do a search for "live forever in the Metaverse," you see articles about this started in March. There was a big push in April, and then every couple of months the topic reappears, to keep it in our consciousness.
This is one of the earliest articles that mentions a timeframe.
The NY Post had an article in Jan 8, 2022:
Metaverse clothing, travel, plastic surgery: Experts predict life in 2030By 2030, “a large proportion of people will be in the metaverse in some way,” predicts Melanie Subin, a director at The Future Today Institute in New York City.
Some will simply use it “only to fulfill work or educational obligations,” she said. Others “will live the majority of their waking hours ‘jacked in.’”
Using a “blend of physical and behavioral biometrics, emotion recognition, sentiment analysis, and personal data,” the metaverse will be able to create a customized and enhanced reality for each person, she said

Webb's exclusively represented by a company called "Leading Authorities." It was started by a Mr.Mark French. Strangely enough, Ed McMahonn works for them (only strange because of his Mandala fame).
