to kill or abandon a baby or an old person for that matter

One of the interesting cultural mores i have run into in these pages is the old practice to abandon unwanted children in the forrest


it makes me think of a lot of the stories that still carry a hint of this reality

like hansel and grettle
tarzan
shoot even the movie, "walk like a man"

which is all idealized showing how abandonment actually makes the characters stronger.

its all to cover up and excuse the reality

so just trying to think objectively about it

i wonder what the mythology will be concerning the current times in the future.

But abortion has been happening since the beginning of time.  There's plenty of natural plants that can abort babies.  Indigenous tribes have always known this. 

good point but the mythology will shift to fit with the times.

i guess that is the answer too

i mean i cannot think.of a.story where somehow incorporates abortion.

because the character is dead before they leave the womb so there is nothing

its just gone

you cant even make up a story about it.
