What does it say? Can't see it bc it's a protected tweet

She must have recently changed her account to protected. It said her friend works for Barclays in UK and told her to get cash out ASAP, for at least a month. She said her friend is not one prone to drama or hysterics (paraphrasing).

Thank you, I appreciate it.

All this change overseas has created legitimacy to the London has fallen claims.

This has been my experience too somewhat.

I notice lately the posters of the protocol are saying medicinal mushrooms like chaga, turkey tail, reishi etc should also be avoided... yet they are not dimorphic parasitical mushrooms, they have been used for centuries for their immune response promotion. Disinfo I think.
huh i had not heard anything bad

i drink RYZE these days
totally took over coffee for me most days

i think we are talking putting people outa buisness level stuff here.

Currently dealing with the aftermath. I live in Lee county. If anyone has any questions I don't have power/cell often but will answer when I can.

Did the hurricane stall out above your county for some time?

Yes for around 5 hours. All forecasts showed it being over between 10am and 1-2pm. It lasted until 5pm. The backside was much stronger as well.  The bulk of the storm was around 7 hrs long. It basically pulled all of Tampa Bay down into our region.

I find this coverage interesting.

The "personal responsibility" narrative is quote opposite their usual "we are all in this together" push.

I don't think I would have evacuated if I lived inland either.

Is insurance hard to find in Florida now? Many insurance companies in CA are dropping residents.  They say the risk of fire is too great if you live within 50 miles of hills or mountains and they won't cover homes in the danger zone.  MOST cities in Southern CA are that close to mountains and hills.

This was an interesting thread on hurricanes, using NOAA's own facts to point out MSM's lies:

For over a decade, journalists have claimed that hurricanes are becoming more frequent & intense, but they data show they're not. By manipulating & misrepresenting data, reporters are being deliberately misleading. In other words, they're lying.

I think this particular storm hit red counties the strongest.

And voter registration is due by next week.

I doubt the destroyed areas will be able to ensure people are registered in time... so the Dems will need to extend the registration and change the mail in rules....

An approaching Storm, and Egypt.

You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Look at where the storms collide this week. A cold, wet storm from the West and a warm hurricane from the East crash together. An extreme arctic chill will hit the Midwest.

And where is it?  Right over Southern Illinois.

Right over New Egypt.

Quote
Southern Illinois has long been known as Egypt to its residents, but few people realize how the region received the name.

There are two schools of thought on how this Land Between the Rivers became known as Egypt. The first says the regional name developed because of the existence of Egyptian place names such as Cairo and Thebes. The second argument says the region was named after settlers in the northern part of the state had to travel to Southern Illinois to buy grain after a series of bad winters or droughts. The settlers in their wagon trains were similar to the ancient Israelites traveling unto Egypt to buy grain.

The trouble with both of these arguments is that they are both right, and they're both wrong as well, because the Egyptian city names and the bad winters occurred after the region got its moniker. But both stories are true to the extent that they helped spread acceptance of the name.
...
But if Southern Illinois got the name from Goshen which came about from the fertile valley of the American Bottoms and the remnants of an ancient civilization at Cahokia Mounds, then shouldn't the area be larger?

Indeed it was. During the 1920s and 30s, Egypt was considered to include the southern third of the state. During that time there was a newspaper association called Egypt's Associated Dailies. One of the lead papers was the Centralia Sentinel, which was definitely outside the 17 county region. Even today, visitors to the paper can marvel at the Egyptian architectural motif both inside and outside of their headquarters building.

The Southern Illinois Development Association promoted the "Egyptian Empire" of the southern 32 counties of Illinois. In 1939, The Chicago Egyptian Club showed 34 counties on its letterhead which included towns as far north as Effingham and Vandalia.

It's interesting to note that at one time Egypt may have covered an even larger area. In 1833, the Sangamo Journal mentioned a settlement called Egypt in Morgan County west of Springfield. Egypt post office was first established on Feb. 12, 1858, in Mason County north of Springfield.

(cue the Simpsons theme song... and 32 counties... 23 reversed. And then there is the post office...)

Carbondale, Illinois is just north of where the solar eclipses cross.

The Carbondale area is referred to as “Little Egypt.” Theories about the nickname’s origins range from the region’s supplying grain to northern and central Illinois during an 1800’s famine to comparing Illinois’ southern tip to Egypt’s Nile delta region.

Not related to this storm, but this old newspaper article + the Little Egypt name makes you stop and think...

MUMMY OF MENKARA HIGH PRIEST OF EGYPT FOUND IN TENNESSEE CAVE. 1892

"Two prominent citizens of Loudon county, Tennessee, while hunting in the mountains discovered a cave containing well preserved mummies, similar in every respect to those of Egypt, and a large trunk or case bound with brass, sealed in several places...The largest was opened and a roll of parchment found covered with Hebrew characters.... translated one of the manuscripts and finds it to be written by Menkara, high priest of the land of Khem."

Menkare was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh, the first or second ruler of the Eighth Dynasty. As a pharaoh of the Eighth Dynasty, according to Manetho, Menkare's seat of power would have been Memphis.

Eighth Dynasty of Egypt
ca. 2181 BC–ca. 2160 BC

Quote
Another possible, though not contemporaneous, attestation of Menkare is a cylinder seal made of glazed steatite, now in the British Museum under the catalog number 30557, and inscribed with the text "The Good God, Lord of the Two Lands, Menkare".[7][8] The seal dates to the 26th Dynasty, some 1700 years after Menkare's lifetime. The attribution of the seal to Menkare is unlikely: given that Menkare is a rather obscure king, some scholars have suggested instead that the seal bears a mistake and actually refers to the better known pharaoh Menkaure, builder of the third pyramid of Giza.

The Loudan County where the the mummies were found is in Eastern TN.  Not THAT close to New Egypt (Illinois), but close enough.

The first European development of Loudon County (Morganton) was a major riverport city. It had several houses destroyed by Gen. Sherman during the American Civil (reset) War. Later, in the late 1960s and 1970s, the town was to be destroyed by a new dam (quite the common reset technique post WW2).

So what was the writing of a king who lived in 2170BC doing in Tennessee, if Egypt is in Africa... and what Two Lands did Menkare(/a) reside over?

😂😂😂😂  funny, I don't see any boulders near me that naturally form into the shape of pyramids. And our hills are covered in boulders.  Statistically, if this was common, I should find at least one...
