When I was thirteen, the country I grew up in faced a month-long lockdown, in the middle of winter. There was no viral outbreak, no toxic chemicals leaking from unfettered reactor cores - this was man-made, stemming from the threat of war by an immense foreign power. Television sets sang with patriotic jingles and presidential addresses, and the sussurus of hushed whispers blanketed cities and districts and neighborhoods like a shroud in the night. Where once winter was marked with festivities adorning every corner of the boulevard, it now cast its freezing breath over empty gardens, shuttered windows, and deserted streets. Hundreds of millions brought to a standstill, because two men couldn't agree on peace.

Has Anyone Here Seen The Short Film "Concrete Elysium"?

With not much to do in this awful weather weekend, I’ve decided to sniff around my old computer discs. I remember having one disc on which I’ve kept old videos I’ve made with friends about a decade ago. I was pretty sure they were awful. I wanted to see just how bad they were. The so-called skits we’ve made were pretty bad. Let me rephrase it; they were horrendous. The only funny thing about those old videos is how funny we thought we were there. I mean, the jokes were pretty good – the execution was bloody awful. There were some gaming recordings and animation videos I’ve made. These were pretty good. I’m surprised just how good I was at that. I guess I could’ve become an animator with a little bit more education. Anyway, I digress.

Along with the hundreds of childhood passion projects in that folder was one video that stuck out like a sore thumb. It was titled, "Concrete Elysium”.

There was a Rumor About a Satanic Church in our City. It Wasn't a Rumor.

There was a rumor in my hometown that I heard a long time ago. Everyone talked about it, but no one was brave enough to confirm if it was true or not. At least, not that I know of. Apparently, out in the middle of the countryside, there was a satanic church. Members of the church would go there and perform rituals or whatever else they do.

Honestly the more I look into this the more I feel all stories are real it just depends how much energy people unconsciously/subconsciously put into them to make them actually occur in our shared timelines.

I mean all stories originate in thought and thought forms literally create reality with enough power.

No one finds this even remotely interesting?
