woke up to an episode of Lancer this morning that is reminicient of many western series and even reminds me of the first time this sort of thing happened to me in Kindergarten:

the school yard was fenced. beyone the fence is the street which was fairly busy back then.

we were playing with those rubber balls they used to use for dodgeball and kickball and everyone was out playing so it was very chaotic.

i saw a ball about to bounce over the fence and i tried to jump and save it but i was unable to save it.

all of a sudden out of nowhere a teacher who i had little to no experience with came over and scolded me and made me take time out saying i purposefully threw the ball over the fence.  i pleaded that i tried to save it to no avail.

it was the first time i ever got in trouble at school.

it was fate i guess.

has somethung like this happened to anyone else? how do you deal with it?

I say the truth always comes out but when i look back i bet that lady still believes i purposely threw the ball over the fence to be onery or whatever.

I think of  the book of Job also.

Here is the episode of lancer

Forgot which show I saw this in but the quote is something along the lines of "if you know the truth keep it to yourself".

its true
thats what murdoch does in the episode anove.

he saves a runaway horse and buggy from smashing into things but the sherrif only sees the final moments of the courageous act, takes him as responsible and arrests him.  Murdoch just calmly resigns and goes to jail.

this is something that is admittingly difficult for me.
i have a couple situations going on here I will try to keep my mouth shut and play along.  oooo its so difficult....
