The problem is not tptb, but my fellow brothers and sisters who refuse to see.
As Rofsy exclaimed, for want of knowledge my people are lost!
But it's always been that way. There's not going to be a point where all of humanity wakes up. People will have things in front of their face and their brain will refuse to see what is there. Even if a lizard is licking their ear, they can only process what they accept.
You can understand why certain groups abuse their children, and make them attend rituals. This can shatter their veil and they can see clearly the realities of the world.
When you see the true realities, you can use them to get ahead, or you can try to block the blind from harming themselves.
No choice is evil, but IMO the middle path that incorporates both choices is best.
