To Learn is To Die
OP: May 19, 2020, 10:59:45 PM
Death and rebirth are the two antithetical ingredients for the synthesis known as growth. People think of death/rebirth only in terms of reincarnation, but that's a macro scale version. On the micro scale, death/rebirth is happening all around us. When you learn something new, part of you dies and is reborn as a smarter version of yourself. The very tissues of your body are made of cells that are continually dying/being born. Digestion of food is itself the process of disintegration/reintegration. If you embrace this process of continuous death/rebirth, you can become impervious to perceived threats. You can become totally fearless.

This just further supports that you can be who ever you want and do what ever you want. Do as you really will not what impulses drive you to do for trivial, short term pleasures.
The only thing stopping you is how much you desire it and how willing you are to do what is required to accomplish said goal.

Most people refrain from doing what they truly desire for fear of losing what they have. Fear of death stops men from truly living. This is why the singularity is so diabolical. It exchanges the natural death/rebirth cycle for technological upgrades from tptb.

Very interesting subject.  Thanks Grass.

I'm thinking' that the 'biological body' part of the equation will become less and less, as the soul lets go of the connections (through the cord).  Maybe they're thinking they can do a workaround, every time they run up against a problem.  I think it would tether the soul to the physical world for longer though,  depending on the possibilities of the tech as it goes.

I suppose the ultimate goal is to capture the conscious awareness by itself. along with its sub-connections to the great mind.  This would mean all the physical body parts could be manufactured and upgraded.  The richer you were - the more expensive and advanced body you could buy.  The poor worker zombie slaves would get the standard one.  Another utopian dream.

However, this would also mean that the physical manifestation plus its augmentations (the derivative), would have captured the soul energy that created/manifested it.  To do that 100%, would mean capturing/controlling all consciousness back to the source of the great mind itself, since everything is one.  Are they smarter than all creation?  Do they think they can manipulate anything much from the bottom up?  Beyond keeping people ignorant and tied to the physical, how can they manipulate anything much beyond the veil?  Rituals?  Well, maybe a little, but everything?

Yeah, good luck with that.

They've been having pretty good 'luck' with it up to now. The 'Rape of Heaven' comes to mind as a easy 'point' to reference where the 'bad guys' really did a number on the whole.

If you get your body from someone else who made it, they control you and your body. They quite literally own 'you'. Don't want that to happen? Don't trade your organic vessel for a trinket made by pawns of dark gods.

It's hard for us to think beyond the present life... to get a perspective or idea of experiencing a large number of lives.  Since they're concurrent, they all weigh in on each other... each has an effect overall.  That's the 'karma' of it, but it's not sequential.  You will be 'you' in the other lives, but you will have different experience and thus memories, in each of them.  Thinking about it from this angle can begin to dispel the fears we have.  I think some level of fear is natural for survival, but spending energy on fear of death diminishes the life we already have.  The reaper will come.  I try to think that when the time comes, I'll take the leap, looking forward.  Nothing is lost.

Speak of Death and Death will come. Be careful what you spell and sentence yourself to. Death is a cult and a god, and like all gods with their cults, they are all choices.

I couldn't agree more.  That's the thing isn't it?  They own you.  That's their dream.  That's their intent.  However, their foreshadowings will only work so far - and then fail.  Nobody rapes heaven.

Spot on, except one thing. They don't have to capture all of Creator's essence. In order to rule this planet, they need only to entrap incoming souls who are incarnating.

No, of course they don't, to rule this place.  They already do, but there are so many people and they need the high tech to maintain and strengthen their grip.  And I agree with your final sentence.

I was looking further down the 'timeline' they've dreamed up, to where the law of diminishing returns kicks in and they lose control of those souls.  In the end, I guess it doesn't matter if there's a reality like that possible, since all the physical existences mould the soul, no matter how dystopian.  It's horrible to contemplate, but future potentials might allow for it.  I still think there's a limit - and I'm reminded of Nick saying 'having trouble with the vessels', or similar.

I’m curious to your insight! Aren’t incoming souls already entrapped via the moon? If (they) managed that much I assume anything is on the table.

And Winds—I agree, I don’t like the robot bodies one bit but Nick speaks of it like it’s finalized and with a noticeable lack of “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!”  so I’m side-eyeing the topic more than before if only for curiosity to these problems. Are they using crystals? Chanting ohm?? Properly facilitating the “petit mort” of the orgasm-that-is-the-soul?  :o
