Would someone be able to help me understand what a depository receipt is? Specifically the Baker Hughes Co Brazilian depository receipt..

Looks like its primarily a way to get foreign companies listed on their equities markets. Relaxed standards equalling easier way (and probably cheaper) access to those securities. I have a small company, I want to raise capital, issue bdrs to Brazil, raise  capital and pull out dollars after the currency exchange through the issuing banks/parties.

Are they setting up oil for another boom eventually? I dont believe that even biden/Harris dont own stock..the push for green, cost of fuel rising, manufacturing scarcity, getting ready for another boom once the card house falls?

Strange. I was more anticipating that if our mindset can triumph over this globohomo jesuit judeo-sino draconic system that oil would still be over and we could release the tesla tech and abolish fiat. I thought oil itself was ladden with dark energy as it is abiotoc and akin to the lifeblood of terra.

I wish I knew more of what was going on or what if anything I could help with besides financials..I've got less than a pot to piss in..however, there just hasn't been many strides taken to eliminate it all together from what I can see(again I dont know all details)..but even musk uses mass amounts of oil in the space launches(for someone whos concerned about going green). The real Tesla and the free energy stuff would be great, but do you really see it replacing oil? Everything we do and have ingrained ourselves in is likely linked to oil, no?

Sure there are no liberals in the oil fields or refineries. List all the professions dependant on petro, they are all dominated by conservatives. If you want a socialist nation, destroy conservative employment,  force them on government teat

A year ago I would have thought this impossible. Close by my place there are a lot of rock mines. SO much runs on oil. Shit will absolutely hit the fan if they manage to somehow pull the rug out from the oil industry - and were talking about this only a year after record lows... Gas never went sub $2 in my area.

It’s funny, an older man told me yesterday that the only way a poor redneck like himself could become affluent was in oil or being a lineman.

He’s a lineman that makes +100k/year
