I wonder if people will get so used to working from home to the degree that they are motivated to try and regain that status when (when?) 'we' start to come down from this.

We are split into two groups, I’m working this week in the field then have next week off. Currently receiving “disaster pay” and receiving regular pay during the week off unless called out. Big bosses are sending work orders through email. Can’t help but say I feel pampered with the pay. In Texas many are having a hard time agreeing with the socks blowing the severity of a virus out of proportion but will definitely comply with Corona Staycation 2020. I think that says a lots.

My guess is 50/50. Half the people love it, the other half can't wait to get out of the house. I personally have never been a fan of office settings so I'm cool with it.

One wah job is on hiatus because of the shut downs, but I was hired at another job within the last month.  It's also a work at home position.  I love making my own hours.

My anti-social "I hate school and everyone in my class" daughter is struggling to do her classwork at home and longs to be working on everything at school instead.  That was surprising to me, as I thought she'd be happy being away from others.

MRCH

Made the call to send my guys to work abroad just a day before the borders closed. Work continues... This is hitting businesses all over pretty bad. Though in my mind I see this time as an opening for opportunities.

How pretty much any of you besides Nick has an employer is far beyond surprising to me.
When the hell do you people sleep?
Maybe I'm just terrible at managing my time after all...

One of the blessings of this house arrest is that time hardly exists anymore.  Sure, we have a few Zoom sessions which start at a particular time and day, but other than that, time has little meaning.

Stores open at sunrise and close shortly after sunset.

We eat when we are hungry (or prolong it, to maintain fasting), sleep when we wish, and work is to be done sometime between sunrise to sunrise.  Does it matter if you stay up until 4am and then enjoy a siesta midday?

I watch the clock to know when sunset is coming (for sungazing and a quick walk before dark) and for the zoom meetings.  Other than that, days and time are relatively meaningless.

Time is made if you want something badly enough, lack of time is an excuse cited by those who fail habitually. Make time for what matters and what matters will make time for you
