What does everyone do when they're not racking their brains about time cubes and Antarctica?  A few years ago I was working for a company that did 3D printing, I got really fascinated by FDM printing and this year put together two home printers that have been steadily making gifts and things for people.  It's been an awesome experience so far and my child really likes saying "we didn't buy that, we MADE it" which is good for their brain at the age.  How do you enjoy your time being?

Apologies also if this post is worthless, I've just really enjoyed reading what others have to say and care about what they're doing with their selves.

What kind of things do you print for gift giving? That reminds me of when I was a boy and I would assemble model cars and planes. My parents or my grandmother would buy my a kit and I would spend hours gluing and painting. I had a model of an F-117 stealth fighter once and was utterly fascinated by its angles. They seemed so, dare I say...alien. Lol!

Time for hobbies has died down a bit since I had my kid, but I was an avid tabletop board gamer. I enjoyed getting together with friends and playing any type of board game. My favorites and go to are: Champions of Midgard, Scythe, and Lords of the Waterdeep. If you haven't noticed what they have in common, the game style is referred to as European Resource Management or Eurogames. This board game style requires a much deeper sense strategy to acquire and manage resources rather than the American style of board games that are traditionally based on direct conflict, luck, and chance.

Aside from that, I still regularly attend a weekly organized collectible miniatures game tournament ran and sanctioned by local comic shops in the area called Heroclix based on superheroes and their respective storylines in the comic books. Since high school, I've been playing this game, and I'm still surprised by the community of people who continue to play it. I've met a lot of lifelong friends playing this game and traveled the country entering national championships. I was once ranked 27th best player in the world back in 2013 and 31st in 2015. I just won the state championship in the fall of 2019 here in Florida, which gave me a qualifying ticket to participate in their world's championship to be held in Columbus, Ohio, in 2020. Still, as you know, that was canceled with all the Covid19 shenanigans going on.

Besides board gaming, I enjoy working out as I converted my entire 2 car garage into a cross-fit style gymnasium complete with rubber flooring and squat rack. I'm also an aquarist. I've been building and taking care of fish tank aquariums since I was in middle school. I use to have a 120-gallon saltwater aquarium with some exotic fish years ago but left the whole set up with my father. Now I just have 50-gallon freshwater. Freshwater is actually more challenging than saltwater. Once you get your saltwater tank established, it's pretty much set it and forget it; the downside, however, is it's more expensive to start initially.

Right now, at this moment, I've been getting back into the new World of Warcraft expansion Shadowlands and having a blast!

Love to dig into some music. Got all three major instruments bass, guitar, and drums. The hardcore music genre flows through my veins; bands like have heart, at the throne of judgment, and touche amore are what I like to cover. Started a garden, last march. I've grown kale, corn, strawberries, and so much more. Been feeding my family with some of the food grown here--it's a great feeling. Dedicated to the visual arts, but I don't care to consume for I wish to create. I'll mess around on gta editor and create episodes to work on my storytelling, writing, editing, and directing. Done a few shorts for school that were good learning experiences. My aim is to produce and create an independent film.

I've worked here and there. Nothing really caught on. Helped the youth for a while which was the most rewarding. Now. I spend my time on this site since its not comprimised like pol or r/conspiracy.
They want power. We want respect.

I injured my hip recently and it slowed me way down.  What a gift though! I started working with resin and making orgonite.  It has been life changer. My home is so peaceful.  I play 528 hertz tunes while I'm working and the pieces are curing. My 11 yo with autism is so drawn to them.  He has  started working on them now as well

Look for meetups, particularly those centered around a subject of interest that you have, or that are adjacent to an interest of yours. Similar minds have similar interests. Have a willingness to be open to conversation without giving away frame control. You'll be surprised how many people out there are also looking for connection with other like minded people. Realize that as a regular here, you are probably further ahead on the curve than most others. You'll naturally become the leader of the pack.
